I’d love to explore this app further, however, I was not able to get past the music import process. I have well over 10,000 audio files in my library and the import process does not run in the background, requiring the app to be open and your phone to be actively engaged. Every time my phone would go to sleep or if I accidentally press the screen outside of the little import window, the import process would stop. After four or five failed attempts I gave up on the app.

Music turns off after a couple of minutes when I put my cellphone down and it goes to sleep. None of my other audio apps ever does this. I also get interruptions while my music is playing. All this happens for music stored/downloaded in my cellphone. Finally—too many options just to set up for a cellphone.

The lyrics don’t work. And can y’all add way to add a short little video in the songs.

Is it perfect? Maybe, maybe not, but it’s excellent and actively being improved. Drop Box integration and custom EQ presets are worth the price tag alone in my book.

App is easy to use very convenient,love the equalizer,amplifier and the HQ of the music. Just go online to an mp3 music downloader,download music,save to files and transfer music to the app

I’m gonna be honest here, this app sounds great, functions great, and performs really, really well. As someone who hates iTunes with all the energy of a white dwarf star, this is the answer. But as someone who was about to go and pay for the full version, it’s incredibly off-putting that I have to watch video ads at startup AND see a static series of ads overlaid on my album art the whole time I’m listening. I get the overlay ads. They’re static, non-intrusive, and do the job. But stacking video ads on top of that at start up just straight up makes me not want to pay you for this app at all on principle, because it’s obnoxious. So now I’m undecided.

Deleted files from my device without my permission. Inexcusable. The app is also buggier and less responsive than Flacbox. Which is a shame because I like the UI for Evermusic better.

This app has started trying to automatically steal my private audio files and automatically upload to their own last fm server. Absolutely unacceptable!

I can no longer add from my file on my phone. What happened ?

Evermusic is almost the perfect companion to Apple Music but playlists won’t sync between my iPad and my iPhone. I added hundreds of recordings on my iPad that were sorted into playlists but on my phone there are only the songs. I contacted the developer a week ago but have gotten no reply.

Runs perfectly on a library containing 33,000 pieces.

I searched the internet for an iCloud (iPhone) music player. I wanted to take a folder of music from my Mac (not the music app) drag and drop to iCloud. Then on iPhone select folder (not the music app) and play music. Evermusic is the ONLY iPhone app i have seen that can do that perfectly. Five full stars just for that!

PLease add ios 12.5.7 support this is the amazing app and the only one i can use on my old phone so now i have to use older version of evermusix

Too buggy to even be worth it

I’ve had this app for the last couple of years and it has never disappointed me, I came from android and once I got an iPhone I wasn’t sure what app I could use for my mp3s so when I found this and the amazing amount of customization I was so very happy 🫶!!!

As Amazon continues raising its prices, I decided I just couldn’t afford their music anymore. I wanted a way to use my Echo as a speaker for my music library. Evermusic was my first pick. It was easy to install and setup on my iPhone, and to connect to my PC where I keep my music. (More storage room there.) It worked well from day one! The only trouble I had was in adding two new songs to the music folder on my PC—Evermusic seemed to find them but wouldn’t play them. It turned out the music files hadn’t transferred properly to the PC, something I only discovered by turning on file size in the music folder. I retransferred them and bingo, Evermusic found and played them at once. I can’t say how grateful I am for this app and its reasonable annual price.

Love to be able to access the music on my OneDrive on the go.

I have used it for couple days and I love it. You just have to know how to organize your files and use the app. I can now simply play my music files on all my apple devices without a sweat.

i’ve been using evermusic over the last few months since i primarily listen to wav tapes and this was one of the better options when i started using. over the last month or so it’s become unusable and clunky. when i say unusable, i mean i cant use the app for my music anymore and may switch to a different app because the issues have become more frequent for me. i cant reorder my queue because the song i choose glitches from its position either when moving or when releasing into a new spot. this makes a 10 second queue move take me 2-3 minutes because the slightest hint of movement away from the center of the + button makes it go back to its original spot. my wavs and mp3s have somehow gotten corrupted over the last few days, and now i am unable to listen to several songs in my playlist. i don’t have backup files, but when redownloading and adding them back, the problem persisted.

Artist and Album Artist is the same display. Albums by Artist should display each album with the sequence of songs like it’s on the cd or love. If I select album artist all the songs from all the artist CD. Library are displayed. It should o ly display dongs from a specific album. Please check Equalizer plus.

Unable to few full playlists only 10 are visible with the app, I have over 50. Also only 816 total songs listed from my Music library. I have thousands of songs. And yes this is the full, premium (read paid for) version.

Update: They have added this feature to the app! These guys are the best! My only complaint or request is that I wish that there was a feature to be able to select and then play only selected playlists? I have playlists of different genres like music, audiobooks, lectures, educational audio and so on and sometimes I could benefit from being able to play selected playlists but not all or just one playlist at a time.

Useful app for me

The app is perfect. Has everything you need very customizable and good equalizer the UI is nice. It doesn’t reduce quality whatsoever, but I recently updated the app had no issues and now there’s a bug where the playlist doesn’t change the order of the songs and reverse back to what it was previously I sent this the only to improve the app because it’s a good quality app and something that is unique I have found anywhere else please fix this as soon as possible developer.

Been using this app for years and hardly had any issues whatsoever. It has a very easy and convenient interface and playlists are easy to create and customize. It is a must have for me whenever I go on jogs, road trips, and plane rides. Highly recommend this app for all.

Around 3 weeks ago. My playlists music and music picture were running fine. But now . The playlists are running slow. The likes favorites are slow now. Even opening up to “add to playlists” are so slow to open. Like what’s wrong with y’all app??? Can y’all at least check this out and see the problem and update please. Thanks

I love this app so much. I’m a big person of the spiritual community and I love being able to listen to subliminals while simultaneously watching youtube, listening to other songs on different platforms, or even just placing relaxing rain in the back of everything. My only critique is that you guys mention the background listening feature more, it might draw more attention to the app. Anyways, love what you all have so far! <3

I rely on Evermusic to build playlists and play songs across my phone, CarPlay, and more all from Google Drive. It turns it into a legit music player.

I was super excited to find this app and ready to spend the $20 on it, but I’ve encountered an issue. Whenever I go to listen to any music, it just pauses and plays extremely fast (no audio) and then skips through all my songs. I’d love to see this fixed so I can keep using 😢

Works pretty seamlessly on WiFi. Can’t get it to work on WIFI+Mobile Data or Mobile Data only. Have tried on iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 16 Pro Max

Got tired of apple music app playlist syncing problems. Here you simply upload folders with your music files and you can navigate everything in the same folder based library. Definitely buying payed version. Hope you guys dont abandon this app as it happens with many great apps that overcome IOS native rigidity.

I purchased this app for the EQ feature. For some reason Apple has NO EQ option for their music app, and everyone knows that different eras and genres of music have different acoustics, so an equalizer is essential to “fine tune” your music. EverMusic’s EQ has been great. It has plenty of bands and separate adjustments for things like “bass boost” and “pre-amp” so you can dial in the best acoustics. The app also has a ton of customization features to get pretty much any appearance you can want. Their customer support has also been great. They respond very quickly and even included a feature I was looking for in their latest update! I would definitely recommend this app if you like hi-quality music like I do!

Everything was honestly fine as it was the last update, I personally can’t stand the constant pauses within my music bc I’m thinking my earbuds are malfunctioning.

Honestly used to enjoy it now it seems flooded with bugs

I moved from Documents by Readdle to paid version of evermusic but it us not good. All I needed was s simple player for music without iTunes and Apple music nonsense! Though this player has a lot of features, it has a terrible interface. No 0.9 speed for spoken word No speed control for music Hard to import music files since you can’t fond them after you import.

And they keep making it better! I wrote and asked for a simple feature. They responded and added it quickly.

I’ve tried out several offline music apps already, but none of them really works quite right. This is the only app I’ve found so far where you can just point to a your local music folder and easily play any song in there. The best way to do this is to click on the “Local Files” tab at the bottom, click on Favorites, click on the three dots at the upper right hand corner, select Add Folder, select “Files on this iPhone”, and open your music folder. Don’t go to Local Files -> “Open Folder…”. Doing so will load up all the songs in all the subdirectories and put them into a flat list, and the orders will be randomized as well.

I used this app to loop white noise while sleeping, but the track would inexplicably stop. A pop up would ask me to rate the app, and it would stop the music. Very annoying.
